Everyone has a dream. Dare 2 Be D.E.A.F. empowers students to act on their dreams and aspirations. We provide a platform for Lake City High School alumni to relay their personal experiences on how they navigated through their post high-school education and began their careers. Students have the opportunity to receive insight from those who are progressing in the careers of their choice; thus, equipping them with essential tools for success.

Vision boards are used to help clarify, concentrate and maintain focus on a specific life goal. We work with students to combine various images that describe the next phase of their life. Areas include continuing education, careers, community involvement, traveling, and hobbies. Students are challenged to articulate what is on their vision board while receiving an abundance of encouragement from volunteers.
